Annie is from Spokane, Washington, and is currently a Mechanical Engineering major and International Economic Development minor at Seattle University. She spent several years in high school volunteering as a peer tutor in Math, Science, and English. When she's not studying, she can be found working on her latest quest to build something cool, whether that's with electronics, mechanics, handcrafts, or bits of wire and duct tape. In her free time, she likes sewing, reading, looking at funny cat pictures, and hiking through the Pacific Northwest's beautiful scenery.

Ari has his B.S. in Chemistry and B.A. in Biochemistry from the University of Washington. He spent two summers teaching a college level precalculus course for the College of Engineering ALVA program. While attending college, Ari was a facilitator for a general chemistry supplemental course, where he helped students better understand the material given in their chemistry lecture. Ari has always had an interest in teaching and in science, specifically chemistry, and his ultimate goal is to be a college professor. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, rock band (on xbox) and cooking.

Bo is a graduate from the University of Washington where he earned a B.S. in Psychology. His studies focused on Animal Behavior and Evolutionary Psychology because he loves unraveling the puzzles behind behavior. Solving problems and then passing on that knowledge is definitely one of his passions. He first started coaching chess to students in high school and has loved teaching ever since. In his free time he enjoys playing video games (DOTA and LoL mainly), designing a board game, and playing chess (of course).

Brian grew up in Ewa Beach, Hawaii and has a B.A. in European Studies and Spanish from the University of Washington. He worked as a language tutor for the university's Spanish Club, where he soon discovered his love for teaching and is currently working on his Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages certification. While attending college he participated in various European Union simulation conferences where he researched the government policies of France and Luxembourg and drafted new solutions to current issues in accordance with country perspectives. In his free time, Brian attends advanced French courses at the Alliance Française of Seattle and divides his time between the US and Spain.

Janna is originally from Southern California and is a pre-law undergraduate student studying Political Science, Criminal Justice, and English at Seattle University. The daughter of an English teacher, Janna has been around education, and proper grammar, her whole life. She's not ashamed to admit that she was the kid who got in trouble for reading under her desk in middle school. When not teaching, reading or studying, Janna enjoys wandering neighborhoods like Fremont and Capitol Hill, for she loves soaking in all that Seattle has to offer!

Jason received his B.A. in History from the College of William & Mary and his M.A. in the same from The Ohio State University. Although he grew up primarily in Virginia, he has since come to embrace the Pacific Northwest as his home after moving here in 2013. Jason loves teaching at all levels, having had experience instructing students in middle school, high school, and university settings. He finds great satisfaction in imparting practical skills that his students can use to succeed on their assessment tests, in their coursework, and beyond. Jason is a huge fan of baseball (where he roots for the Baltimore Orioles), hockey (the Columbus Blue Jackets), and board games (where he roots for himself).

Nick graduated from the University of Washington in 2014 with a dual degree in History and Political Science. Not only is he a remarkable SAT and ACT coach, he has been coaching pole vault at Inglemoor High School since 2011 and is currently enrolled in a graduate program at UW Bothell in a Master’s of Education with endorsements in History and Social studies. He spends his free time playing games of all varieties, writing a blog about history and coaching pole vault as often as possible.

Sally is a graduate from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Creative Writing and Psychology and a current graduate student at Seattle University. She fell in love with tutoring in her senior year of college when she was a poetry coach for a group of adorable fifth grade girls, and she hasn't stopped teaching since! She plans to teach for as long as possible before receiving her graduate degree in Counseling Psychology. She loves words and everything about them, but when she's not focusing on her passion for English, she loves rock climbing, cooking, painting, playing volleyball, and playing trivia games.

Will grew up in the Kirkland area and graduated from Lake Washington High School. In December 2014 he will be graduating from the University of Washington with an Applied Physics major and Mathematics minor. At UW, Will specialized in non-resonant inelastic x-ray scattering spectroscopy lab work. He began tutoring classmates his freshman year in college and instantly loved it. He continued to tutor students online around the country. In his free time he loves to longboard, snowboard, wakeboard, play soccer, golf, and video games.
