Celina grew up in Kirkland and attended Syracuse University in New York, where she received a B.S. in Public Policy and Earth Science. From 2015 to early 2017, she worked for Teach for America in Clarksdale, Mississippi, where she taught Algebra, Geometry, Biology, and Human Anatomy. When she is not coaching at PrepNorthwest, she enjoys training for local half-marathons, watching reruns of Psych, and drinking coffee.

Chris grew up in both Snoqualmie and Phoenix. After high school, he received a B.S. and M.S. in Mathematics Education from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. After graduation, Chris worked at BASIS Flagstaff, a college prep charter school, where he taught various Math classes including AP Statistics, Calculus AB, Calculus BC and Pre-Calculus along with coaching chess and tennis. Beyond coaching students at PrepNorthwest, Chris is also a teacher at Newport High School. In his free time, Chris enjoys watching and playing sports, catching up on the newest T.V. shows and movies, and trying out new board games.

Hailey Gunningham grew up in Ferndale and graduated from Li Po Chun, an international boarding school in Hong Kong, where she got her start in tutoring. She later received her B.S. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Washington. Hailey is currently applying to medical school, and she hopes one day to practice family medicine in rural communities. In the meantime, her passion for science and her desire to grow her teaching skills have inspired her to work as a tutor. In her free time, Hailey loves reading and writing poetry, and has published poetry in several magazines. She also enjoys yoga, cooking, and birdwatching.

Jasmine received her B.A. from Western Washington University, where she majored in English/Creative Writing and minored in Communications. While attending college, she was a reporter for her school newspaper, where she worked with her fellow editors to create newspaper layouts, copy-edited submitted pieces, and interviewed fellow members of her community. Jasmine realized she loved helping others achieve their academic goals when she taught a college-level public speaking class, where her tasks included helping students with grammar, formatting, and coaching them before their speeches. In her free time, she loves reading/watching Harry Potter, quoting Gilmore Girls, and geeking out about the British Royal family.

Richard grew up in Richland, WA. He received his B.S. in Mathematics from Western Washington University with minors in Physics and Astronomy. Richard loves sharing his passion for Math, and has been tutoring the subject since he was in high school. He also enjoys hiking, traveling, game shows and going to the movies. In July, Richard will be going abroad to Australia for his Master's degree in Statistics and Operations Research at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).

Rixing grew up in New York before moving to Washington at age 10. She received her B.S. in Physics with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Washington, and for the last few years has taught in many different settings, from the classroom to the tennis court. What draws her to teaching is the process of being able to give back what she is passionate about, as well as the rewarding experience of seeing her students learn and grow. In her free time, she enjoys video games, playing tennis and just about anything Star Wars related.

Ruth graduated from Skyline High School in Sammamish, WA with an International Baccalaureate Diploma, and recently graduated from the University of Washington with a B.S. in Chemistry and a B.A. in Biochemistry. She has been tutoring since her junior year in high school, and has experience tutoring Algebra I/II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, AP/IB Calculus, and AP/IB Chemistry. Aside from teaching, Ruth loves traveling with her family, trying new restaurants, and baking. A coffee fanatic, you can find Ruth visiting new coffee shops in her free time.

Sara grew up in Kirkland and attends the University of Washington, where she is finishing up a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. She has had a passion for tutoring and teaching since high school, where she first began tutoring students, and has continued to hold a variety of tutor and teaching assistant positions with high school and college students throughout her undergraduate career. After graduation, she will begin dental school in the fall at the UCSF School of Dentistry. Outside of school and teaching, Sara loves hiking, cooking and baking, watercolor painting, and trying out new coffee shops and cafes!
